Call for Award Applications

Please submit the required nomination documents in electronic form in two parts.
Please be sure to observe the deadlines specified in the call for applications. You can find the most recent calls for applications at https://gbm-online.de/de/news.html

(Part I) The following information and documents must be provided:

(1)     The completed online form with details about the candidate as well as the nominator or advisor.
(2)     A pdf document (<15 MB, file name: firstname_lastname_prize.pdf) must be uploaded via the online form) containing:

(2.1) A brief description of the nomination (candidate; nominator, title of the dissertation, and a meaningful sentence that highlights the nominee’s exceptional qualifications during the award ceremony)

(2.2) A detailed curriculum vitae

(2.3) The dissertation worthy of the award

(2.4) PDFs of the most important publications resulting from the dissertation (max. 5).

Please fill the following webform with 9 pages in a single session (you can pause but not save the session). Please toggle between the pages with the blue buttons at the end of each page. At the end, you can review all entries before submission. After the submission, you will receive a confirmation email that contains all entries. As specified in the call for proposals for an award, you will be asked for the following information: (1) Details on your academic studies (B.Sc. M. Sc, PhD), (2) publications, (3) Other achievements, (4) Details on your nomination and supporters, (5) upload of the application file.

(Part II) When you submit the online nomination form, the supporter named on the form will also receive an email and a link to a supporter form. Your nomination is complete only after this form has been filled out and successfully submitted.

Only complete nominations can be reviewed.
